I AM NOT A PAGAN – I worship the Lord Jesus Christ, and Him alone do I serve and give homage. It is He alone that has given me and my family numerous gifts, blessings, food, and shelter. I chose to celebrate His coming to the earth to die for my sins at this time every year. I am not commanded to do this, nor am I commanded not to do this. I am like the Jews in the days of Esther who upon hearing word that the conspiracy to have them killed was discovered and the conspirators were killed, they held a FREE WILL festival called Purim. They were not commanded to, they wanted to. They still do to this day. The conspirator against me was defeated by the birth of Jesus Christ and He is worthy to be praised. Why should I let Satan receive any honor on December 25th when the Bible says “This is the day that the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.” If you choose not to celebrate the Nativity of our Lord, that is fine, I am not offended and you are doing so to honor God. I, likewise and many others like me, choose this day to honor the message of Luke 2, and Matthew 1 and 2. Please out of respect for Collossians 2:16, and Romans 14:4-10, do not come into judgment or condemnation over someones conscience in choosing this time of year to show forth the Gospel. Remember, God hath concluded us ALL under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
