Personal notes

This morning just as I began preaching, I was overcome with a wave of nausea and dizziness. After a few minutes I recovered somewhat and finished the message. I appreciate everyone’s prayers and concerns. I think it is related to something that has been happening frequently during Sunday School. I have been having spasm in my “inward parts” that are uncontrollable. This almost always does not occur except on Sunday morning. Maybe it is stress related as I contemplate the gravity of the importance of the Sunday Service, or maybe not. I do believe that God allows it to happen as a reminder to me that neither I nor anyone else should exalt anyone but the Lord Jesus Christ. It was His strength that provided the blessing today, not mine. May God always be praised. The funny thing is I prayed specifically this morning before the service for this not to happen. As I remembered this later this evening, God reminded me that His grace is sufficient, and rather than giving me what I asked for, He gave me something that was better; to allow my weakness to be used for His glory and the edification of the saints. I’ll take that.

  3. Dear Pastor:
You have been such an inspiration to me…I attend a Berean Church locally, and when I found your KJV site I was very pleased. I am very sorry to hear you are ill…I have prayed and will keep praying for your health…I had heard you tell someone that you could be their pastor enen though there was distance between you. How would that work?

God keep blessing you and your message…

  4. Pastor Mike you are such an example to us, we love that you always exalt God above all else and even when you are suffering, and we have seen you going through terrible things you have always point us to The Father, That is why HE is trusting you with us, because you are a good shepherd. We are so blessed to have such a humble Pastor. Get well Pastor Mike, we love you.

    1. I totally agree that Pastor Mike is an example for us. Even through weaknesses, they show us we are not alone that God is there for us too. Pastor Mike always points us to God. God’s word is more alive now than ever before. I feel bad that I miss online as I have to work, but very greatful I can hear the day after online on u-tube. God bless you Pastor Mike

  5. I was praying for you during the service Pastor Mike. I felt that we need to have Godly truth loving Christians like you around in times like these. I know you’ll get help in figuring things out. I pray for your continued good health.

  6. I am so glad to see the hits on this new site….And so soon after its conception..Following Pastor, is like waiting for an author to release a new book…I anticipate each new topic..
    Keep the blessings flowing….

  7. Pastor Mike your unapologetic stand for truth in the word of God as translated in the KJV is so much needed. We are a small remnant for such a cause as this, and I praise God my path has crossed with yours via your website. I am edified by it.

    – Thomas (Galatians 1:10-KJV)

  8. “Oh, praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD”

Brother Mike, you are a blessing to all of us. Praise God you are following His guidance! I have fallen completely in love with HIS WORD. Thank you for helping show us the TRUTH!

  9. Pastor Mike has turned on the lights in some dark places for me, may God continue to less and protect him. Amen

  10. Thank you, Father in heaven, for your vigilant watchman. Bless Pastor Michael Hoggard, his family and his church family, in the name of the LORD Jesus Christ and for your glory, Father. Amen.

  11. Pastor: I was just watching your video
The New Age, Rick Warren, Glenn Beck, Alleister Crowley, and the Great Falling Away . A real eye opener…I have been a fan of Dr. Oz, till now…I do not have TV, so I don’t get to see him much. To see him hook up with Rick Warren, was a surprise. Satan is such a deceiver. I live in the word daily..My life is centered around the KJV constantly..I am so afraid of going astray…Amen and thank you for your insight….

  12. Great post. I was checking continuously this blog and I am impressed! Very helpful info particularly the last part 🙂 I care for such information much. I was seeking this certain information for a very long time. Thank you and good luck.

  13. I just watched Pastors video “Invasion” The sermon was spot on..
Are we who hold to the old traditions,. KJV, and unmovable in our Faith. so alone? I live in a retirement home. and I see very few residents who show any fruit. This is a Christian town, Full of Mennonites and Amish. Yet there is a vast number of residents who are so worldly..I praise God for the comfort of the few Christians around me…This video has helped me face the future of America..our security, and the reality of our fallen Nation..We are boastful, proud, arrogant, and Godless. I STAND PROUD TO SAY I AM A TRUE BELIEVER IN GOD..AND JESUS CHRIST IS MY SAVIOR.I Pray all who read this will repent and ask Jesus to forgive and receive them. Enough… Alan
